Nigerian Teen Ambassador UK

This platform has been created to give young Nigerians, from the diaspora, an opportunity to learn, discover and embrace their culture and to learn ways to increase their confidence and showcase their talents. The winner(s) of the competition will be ambassadors for all the young teens around the UK, and supporting various charities that support and encourage growth from a young age.

This is not a pageant, this is an opportunity to meet new people, develop new skills, have fun learning and encourage positive growth from a young age. Our winner(s) will work with a mentor for 12 months, gain support with education through a tutor or other academic/business support, personal branding/training and £500 voucher to spend in Selfridges (or a local centre if winner is not based in London).

 

• Applicant must have full parental permission before entering this competition

• Applicant must be a resident in the United Kingdom permanently or at least 2 years.

• Applicant must be between the age of 13 – 17 by the start of the event, with full signed consent, to compete in the competition.

• Applicant must be of at least 50% Nigerian Heritage (a minimum of one parent has to be of Nigerian heritage or both parents are half)

• There is NO application fee but successful applicants will be encouraged to raise £150 in sponsorship

• Applicant is aware that all costs relating to the competition must be covered by the applicant

• Applicant must understand the responsibility of being involved in the competition and need to be flexible during the process and understand that should they win the flexibility must continue.

• Applicant does not need to have any knowledge of their heritage and cultural background but be willing to learn

• There are NO height, size or weight requirements to enter this competition
